SUMMARY:Fluid Presence™ Retreat:  A Water-Sangha Gathering
DESCRIPTION: \n“Satsang” is a Sanskrit word\, which refers to a sacred gathering to facilitate the sharing of wisdom. Sangha is the community of those that come together explicitly for this purpose. This Water Sangha retreat is open to all who resonate with the water element as a spiritual path and feel drawn to consciously co-create a “field” of Loving Awareness to be nourished by. \nFor many years\, I have had the honor of offering groups at PremShala\, my home-teaching facility in California. Repeatedly\, I’ve witnessed how our coming together in the flow of a shared intentional space inspires loving connection and renewed Spirit. It is a dream come true to offer a Water-Love-Tribe reunion on Ischia with Laila Sell\, who will be sharing her gifts as well. \nAs a teacher\, one of the things I commonly experience is that of practitioners returning to class because they are burned out from giving and want to find their way back to themselves through sharing with their water tribe. It is an incredible blessing to be an ambassador of the water\, yet often we can receive SO much energetically that we can sometimes forget about our “creature body” and its needs. It can feel so good to give ourselves the space to renew our energy and receive what we give to others. \nOn the other hand\, there are those that have an ongoing love affair with the water and the modalities that they’ve learned but have no pool to practice in. They are often hungry to give to others and find their flow in the water again. \nOf course\, there is everything in-between\, from those simply wanting some quiet introspection time\, nourishing self-care\, learning new tools\, refinement or peers with which to explore everything from personal and professional themes. This will be a time to dive in and reSource from the Well-Spring within while being nurtured in the water by kindred spirits. \nThis gathering is a call to water providers that feel drawn to come and reset in a retreat environment. I envision a space for sharing circles\, sacred silence\, movement practices\, meditation\, breath\, self-inquiry\, partner exercises and whatever else arises spontaneously in our communal field. \nA sample of what our days may look like: \n8:00 am Calligraphy Yoga with Laila Sell \n9:00 am Breakfast \n10:00 am Water Meditation & Exchanges \n12:30 pm Lunch & Personal Time \n2:30 pm Land: Meditation\, Sharing Circle etc \n4:00 pm Water Exploration & Exchanges \n6:30 pm Dinner \n8:00 pm Hanna Somatics with Laila Sell \nThe location: \nIschia is a beautiful volcanic island off the coast of Naples. It is one of the world’s first health & spa destinations and has drawn people to its thermal hot springs and volcanic muds for over 2000 years for its healing properties. \nThe venue: \nCasa Michelangela is a charming and peaceful little heaven situated on a hill\, about half a mile from the sea on the Island. It is a truly magical place between sea and mountains with large terraces from which you can admire endless views across the Bay of Naples. \nThe pool: \nThe warm thermal pool is situated on a large panoramic solarium. The place is an oasis of peace and inspiration surrounded by lush green gardens and flowers beds. The water is a natural hot source coming up from the ground\, very high in minerals and healing properties. \nThe accommodation: \nYou’ll enjoy the warm hospitality and the enchanting atmosphere of the place.
