DESCRIPTION: \nFluid Presence™ 1 with Shantam \nPrerequisite: Fluid Presence™ Foundation (or equivalent)\, Presence of Being™ or Instructor permission. Fluid Presence™ Application Form is required. \nFluid Presence 1 builds upon the foundation of Fluid Presence™ Foundation and Presence of Being™. In this course\, we expand on the art of dialog with clients before and after the water-holding portion of the session. We continue to deepen trust in our intuitive role in the therapeutic relationship. Verbal and nonverbal reflection skills will be practiced and refined along with the direct experience of giving from “neutral”. A series of sub-aquatic “frameworks” are presented which allow for greater accuracy within the above and underwater holding-positions. This furthers the giver’s proficiency and confidence to simultaneously transmit security and stability along with fluidity and freedom. Students learn to energetically connect\, feel and follow what is happening on all levels. Students expand upon what they have already learned about maintaining tonal match and increase their capacity for remaining open and being a supportive presence.  This course equips students to better navigate the non-ordinary states of consciousness so accessible in the warm-water holistic therapy environment. \nStudents can expect to explore: \n\nExpansion of Body Mechanics & Surface Holding-Positions\nUnderwater-Holding “Frameworks”\nSensing\, Feeling\, Tracking & Following Energy\nEnergetic Boundaries\nRefinement of the Art of Breath Connection in Relation to Submerging and Emerging\nRefinement of Communication Skills\nGiving from “Neutral”\nMeditative Self-Inquiry\nRefinement of “Sweet Spot” Between Stability & Invisibility\n\nFluid Presence 1™ is an integral part of the Fluid Presence™ Provider training in addition to serving all other forms of Aquatic Bodywork Therapy modalities. \nThe location: \nIschia is a beautiful volcanic island off the coast of Naples. It is one of the world’s first health & spa destinations and has drawn people to its thermal hot springs and volcanic muds for over 2000 years for its healing properties. \nThe venue: \nCasa Michelangela is a charming and peaceful little heaven situated on a hill\, about half a mile from the sea on the Island. It is a truly magical place between sea and mountains with large terraces from which you can admire endless views across the Bay of Naples. \nThe pool: \nThe warm thermal pool is situated on a large panoramic solarium. The place is an oasis of peace and inspiration surrounded by lush green gardens and flowers beds. The water is a natural hot source coming up from the ground\, very high in minerals and healing properties. \nThe accommodation: \nYou’ll enjoy the warm hospitality and the enchanting atmosphere of the place.
